In the Otuacega district of Ogbia State, detectives from the Bayelsa State Police Command have detained Judge Egbo, the leader of the infamous Bayelsa cult organization.


The renowned cult "Aye," which has caused unrest in numerous towns throughout the state, is already a member of the 30-year-old suspect, according to a statement released by SP Asinim Butswat, spokesman for the Bayelsa State Police. 


He claimed that he admitted to murdering innocent individuals.


The state police command stated last week that it was charged with stopping the flow of violent confrontations and cult activities across the nation due to the continuous bloodshed in Bayelsa State and the countless attacks against innocent persons in the state.


A special unit known as various state municipalities was dispatched
After being formed, the team immediately went to work and established a track record of making arrests around the state.


Police reported that 32 criminals connected to attacks and violence in the state had been taken into custody after dispatching a squad. 


At a press conference, a police official said that a member of the public had tipped off authorities about the cult leader's whereabouts.


He claimed that after obtaining the information, investigators and neighborhood vigilantes acted, leading to Egbo's arrest and the seizure of a firearm made in the area.
