MOHBAD: NAIRA MARLEY IMPOSES CONDITIONS ON HIS SURRENDER FOR INVESTIGATION.

Azeez Adeshina Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, a Nigerian rapper, has stated that if security services can ensure his safety, he will give himself in to be examined over claims linking him to the death of his former signee, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, nicknamed Mohbad.

PREMARV MEDIA recalls that there have been calls for Naira Marley to be probed in connection with Mohbad's death for reportedly funding hoodlums to abuse and threaten the late musician after he controversially left his record company, Marlian Music, in 2022.

Naira Marley said in an interview with Reno Omokri on Wednesday night that he was willing to surrender himself to investigations if his safety was guaranteed.

He stated that he has been out of the nation since August 31, 2023, and learned of Mohbad's death through social media.

"I was out of Nigeria since August 31st," he explained. I've spent my entire life with my family. One is that I haven't been to Nigeria since then.
"Two, He [Mohbad] has subsequently departed Marlian Music... I'm not sure of the exact date, but he's been gone from Marlian Music since 2022. 

We haven't prohibited him from releasing songs or anything else. He's been with a public relations [company] or whatever since then.

"So hearing about his death was shocking to me." I was also out of the country. So I need to figure out what happened.

He added that he has been out of the country since August 31, 2023, and found out about Mohbad's death via social media.
