IN OSUN, POLICE ARREST A 22-YEAR-OLD MAN FOR DEFILING A 3-YEAR-OLD BABY.

Police in Osun State said they have arrested Mustafa Adewale, 22, for allegedly raping a 3-year-old toddler.

According to the command, the mother of the baby reported the event to the police.According to the state Police Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola, the event occurred at Garage Olode in Osun State's Ife South LGA.

She stated that the baby's mother departed around 11:40 a.m. and left her young daughter in the care of her neighbor, Mustafa Adewale.

''Adewale had raped the young baby before the woman returned home at 3:20pm. 'The suspect, who confessed, blames the devil for his actions. He claimed he brought biscuits for the kid and then raped her after she ate one.

According to the PPRO, the small girl is responding to therapy at a hospital where she was taken for medical assessment and treatment by the police.

She stated that the suspect had been arrested and will be charged in court following an investigation.
