NIGERIANS SHOULD FORGIVE ME - MOHBAD'S FATHER EXPLAINS HIS SON'S DEATH

Mr Aloba revealed all that transpired on the day he died in an interview with BBC Yoruba.

Joseph Aloba, the late singer Mohbad's father, has implored Nigerians to forgive him.
In an interview with BBC Yoruba, he gave more details concerning his son's death.

He begged Nigerians to forgive him for burying his son so abruptly, saying that no one loves his son as much as he does
Mr Aloba further alleged that his son told him before his death that Naira Marley had a dark side.

He revealed that his kid had been beaten several times, and that the first time Mohbad was beaten, he reported it to the Police but no action was taken
Mohbad's father, a preacher, stated that he is unable to take traditional steps owing to his religious convictions.

"My son died around 3 p.m., and nobody called me," he explained. It was 10 p.m.

When I arrived at his place, and there were a lot of people there. 

We were denied a police report at the station.

We attempted to take him to the mortuary, but there was no room, and I couldn't monitor him in the house. 

I had no choice but to bury him. 

If I upset Nigerians, please forgive me. Nobody loves him as much as I do.

"I've never seen Samlarry in my life. 

When I arrived at Naira Marley's house the first time, Mohbad was eating, and Naira grabbed up a spoon and joined him.

"It touched me that he loved him so much, but my son said Naira was evil.

" I didn't realize Naira was recording me until I walked into his room to beg him to forgive my son for whatever he had done.

"The first time Samlarry beat him, he told me not to say anything, and he went to the police station, but nothing was done."

"He had always lived in fear since then." During his video session with Zlatan, he was battered again.

"I'm looking for justice for him.

" As a Minister,“I can’t fight this traditionally because of my religion. 

If they want to do the DNA test, let them do it.”
