FOUR PEOPLE WERE KILLED AND THREE OTHERS WERE INJURED IN A CAR ACCIDENT ON THE LAGOS-IBADAN EXPRESSWAY.

Four people were killed and three others were injured in an accident on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Monday when a luxury bus collided with a truck.

Florence Okpe, the Federal Road Safety Corps' Public Education Officer for the Ogun State Sector, confirmed the event in Abeokuta.

Okpe reported that the truck did not stop when the bus smashed into it on the freeway while negotiating a bend around the "Kara" axis.

She stated that the bodies had been deposited at a morgue in the state's Sagamu district, while the injured had been transferred to a local hospital. 

The bodies were sent to a morgue in Sagamu, Ogun.
