A heartbreaking video of a property reportedly owned by Ace The video of Nigerian comedian AY Makun getting consumed by a blazing inferno has gone viral. The amateur video, shot by a neighbor, was uploaded online late Sunday evening, August 8, 2023.

In a message posted to his Instagram page, the comedian responded to the tragedy by saying that nothing in the world is more important to him than his family, while avoiding any mention of fire.

Internationally acclaimed Nigerian comedian Ayo Makun, also known as A.Y Makun, is trending on social media after news of his Lekki mansion being destroyed by fire went viral. Though the popular stand-up comedian and director has not officially commented on the incident, fans have shown their love, support, and solidarity on his social media page.

A video of the tragic incident, which was apparently put online by one of A.Y's neighbors, quickly went viral. A.Y's wife, Mabel, and their two daughters were not in Nigeria at the time of the tragedy, according to sources.
