A MAN WHO ATTEMPTED TO BREAK THE GUINNESS WORLD RECORD BY RUNNING FROM LAGOS TO PORT HARCOURT FOR FIVE DAYS ENDED UP IN THE HOSPITAL AND IS CURRENTLY RECEIVING TREATMENT.

A daring Nigerian set out on a five-day marathon journey that began at the Lekki toll gate in Lagos and ended at the hospital.


In a viral photo, he was seen lying on a hospital bed receiving treatment for apparent burns.


Wene, the brave Nigerian boy who attempted to break the Guinness World Record by running the epic five-day marathon from Lagos to Port Harcourt, appears to have had a difficult time.


According to the report, which he confirmed with the caption "The pain is unimaginable" on his Facebook page.


He is currently in the hospital and receiving treatment.


Wene exited the Lekki Toll Gate at 4 a.m. on Tuesday.


On October 21, he posted on his Facebook page that he had finished his five-day marathon walk when he arrived in Rivers State.


Guinness World Records has yet to issue a statement or comment on the Nigerian's five-day marathon completion. 


Fans responded to his hospital photo by leaving comments in the comments section of his page and sending him well wishes.
