GOVERNMENT DEMOLISHED HOUSE IN IKOTA LAGOS

RESIDENTS IN IKOTA GRIEVE AS THE LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT DEMOLISHES THEIR HOMES, CLOGGING WATER PIPES.

A video has emerged online showing inhabitants of an estate in Lagos state weeping and shocked after their structures were demolished in the Ikota axis. 
 
The footage showed the removal of property from the building. 

As the taskforce agents advanced with their caterpillar to destroy more properties in the area, a young man was observed crying and screaming tantrums.
 
In a conversation with the inhabitants, the state Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources stated that they were given ample time to leave the premises but refused.
