In the Etche Local Government Area of Rivers State, a businessman named Akuma Kalu was crushed to death after a 40-foot container fell on his automobile.


It was learned that Kalu passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023, while traveling to the international airport in Port Harcourt to catch a trip.


The container was reported to have fallen off a truck and crushed him while his car was stranded at a rough section of the Etche-Ngo Okpala route.


Abariba, in the Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State, was the hometown of the late Kalu.


Prior to his passing, he was a member of the Umuogele Landlords Association in Aba, Abia State, and an importer with a base in Umuogele Ovom following Magic FM.


Family members are grieving for the late businessman on Facebook.


They lost their father about six years ago, according to his older brother Uchendu Kalu.


Dad It has been five years and ten months since you departed from me in this lonesome and terrible world. 


Akuma, your last born, was taken away by death.

He posted on Facebook, saying, "Rest in peace, little bro, Dimkpa, Odogwu, and on Ezinna m, Nwoke udo, and my one and only father."


On Sunday, October 15, he posted on Facebook, saying, "Rest in peace, little bro, Dimkpa, Odogwu, and on Ezinna m, Nwoke udo, and on my one and only father.


"It's too difficult to accept that you've left, little bro. 


Demise My younger brother Akuma Kalu Mang was taken away by you six years ago, and now you have taken away my father. 


How did we treat you? My heart is gushing blood.
