LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT HAS INSTRUCTS SCHOOL TO BEGINS THE 2023/2024 SCHOOL YEAR ON SEPTEMBER 4th.

The Lagos State government has ordered that all schools below the tertiary level start classes on Monday, September 4, 2023, in accordance with the Y2023/2024 Harmonised academic school calendar established by the Lagos State Ministry of Basic Education.

Mrs. Abiola Seriki-Ayeni, Director-General, Office of Education Quality Assurance (OEQA), made this known in a statement issued on Monday by the Deputy Director, Public Affairs (OEQA), Adepeju Adeyemi.
She asked all schools to strictly adhere to the resume date in order to provide quality and sustainable education in the state.

She also urged proprietors and school administrators to strictly adhere to the Lagos State Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy, emphasizing that full compliance with all safety protocols on school premises is required for a safe learning environment, as the state government remains committed to providing quality education.
