FIVE CELEBRITIES WHO SHARED MOYO LAWAL'S DESTINY

On Saturday, a bedroom video of a Nollywood actress went viral on social media.
The actress was photographed in a private moment with her beau. Moyo Lawal was seen wearing her 'birthday suit' while having fun with her partner, who was filming their antics.
The video of Moyo Lawal has already sparked outrage online, with many criticizing her for letting a man to record a film of her. The actress has threatened to sue individuals who shared the private tape on social media without her permission.
Aside from Moyo Lawal, five more Nigerian celebrities had been blackmailed using their leaked intimate footage.
Salawa Abeni, Small Doctor, Tacha, Toke Makinwa, and Tiwa Savage are among them.
QUEEN SALAWA ABENI
In 2020, the Yoruba singer received an Instagram message from a man claiming to have her intimate photos and threatening to post them on social media if she failed to cooperate.
On April 1, 2020, Abeni posted on her Instagram page about what was about to happen, and she even posted the photographs herself.
"Good morning, my Family, Friends, and Fans," she wrote. I have something really essential to tell you, and I will be grateful for your presence. I am deeply upset that someone will try to smear my reputation and threaten to derail my 45-year career."I received messages this morning from someone threatening to expose very old pictures of me and blackmailing me for money." These could have been photos of me in the hospital or with my spouse, but is this what we've become? "I implore everyone out there to be extremely cautious because our current situation has made people extremely desperate."I am over 60 years old, I have worked very hard and created a name for myself, and it is quite upsetting that someone believes they can threaten and trample on my feelings. So I've chosen to share the words and photos sent by this guy with everyone so that you may all see them! Thank you so much, and God bless you!
For you the blackmailer, I refuse to be bullied by you as I’m sure that I’m old enough to be your MOTHER!!”
TOKE MAKINWA
Toke Makinwa, a Nigerian radio celebrity and television broadcaster, raised the alarm in April 2020 about a conspiracy to blackmail her using her reported nude images, which she said were falsified.
She had turned to Instagram to release the photos herself in order to deflate the blackmailer's aspirations.
"I am sharing this ahead of your threats to release these edited/false images because this is disappointing, this is not humanity, there is a pandemic killing people and there are also certain human beings wanting to exploit people at a time when we should all be spreading love and kindness," Makinwa wrote.
"Stop sending those bloody emails already. I'm not the one, not yesterday, not today, and never will be. I'm afraid I don't have any money to give you."

Former BBNaija housemate Anita Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, also filed a statement through her lawyer on April 21, 2020, claiming that someone was attempting to blackmail her with manipulated nude pictures.
"Earlier today, a couple of emails were received from unknown blackmailers threatening to release 'edited' pictures of our client, Natacha Akide (Tacha)," her lawyer stated. We want the broader public to know that these photos have been manipulated and that they were provided to blackmail our client in exchange for money."Natacha Akide does not had, and will not have, such photographs shot of herself. We recognize that this is a terrible time for most individuals, but let us also be human and refrain from any harmful behavior.
"Natacha Akide has no such pictures of herself and will not have them taken under any circumstances." We recognize that this is a tough moment for most individuals, but let us also be human and refrain from any sort of extortion, blackmail, or theft while fighting Covid-19. Please reject any manipulated images sent by these blackmailers. - We do not bargain with blackmailers."

A frightening video of Small Doctor stroking his joystick seriously on camera on Snapchat appeared online in 2017. He was sexing himself.
He later claimed that his phone had been hacked and that the hackers had posted the masturbating photos on Snapchat for everybody to see.
