Busola Oke, a Nigerian gospel singer, sparked outrage online after publicly accusing her former record label owner, Gbenga Adewusi, of robbing her of her money. 
She made these charges on her Instagram page, which coincided with the death of singer Mohbad, a prominent figure in the music industry.

Gbenga Adewusi, a veteran music producer and promoter, allegedly gained control of Oke's music earnings after she rebuffed his sexual approaches. 

She claimed that the label's actions harmed her financial status, pushing her to liquidate her possessions because she refused to join a group of women under his influence.

Oke expressed her rage at Gbenga Adewusi in social media posts, claiming that she could have gained great money and notoriety if not for what she called his lust and avarice.

She said that the label had driven her bankrupt and forced her to sell her possessions because she refused to be a member of his harems of women.
She cursed him, noting how she might have earned significant money and recognition if it hadn't been for his lust and greed.
