NIS BOSS WARNS AGAINST ILLEGAL MIGRATION

By, Adedayo Fowowe

Mrs. Caroline Adepoju, the Nigeria  Immigration Service's acting Comptroller General, has cautioned parents and young women about irregular migration, which has cost the lives of many young Nigerians.

At the 20th Outreach of the August Girls' Assembly, one of the biggest gatherings of girls in Ibadan, Oyo State, Adepoju issued the warning.

The Worth-in-Womanhood division of the Vine Branch Church Ministry reportedly organized the outreach, which had the theme "Christian Culture," according to the News Agency of Nigeria.
Adepoju pointed out that unauthorized immigrants confront various challenges, including harsh weather conditions and animals that either prey on them or crudely harvest their organs for sale.

Protect your children from those who would exploit them by luring them abroad as parents.

"And, girls, don't follow anyone who wants to take you abroad by road without first telling your parents," Adepoju said.
