IN OGUN STATE, A HIT-AND-RUN DRIVER KILLS THREE PASSENGERS.

An unregistered vehicle is said to have crushed three people to death along the Ogijo-Mosimi route in Ogun State's Sagamu Local Government Area.


Florence Okpe, the state spokesman for the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), informed reporters in Abeokuta that the accident happened at 10:25 p.m. on Tuesday.

She claimed that a truck with no license plate rammed into a trike labeled LSD175QM, portraying the incident as a hit-and-run.
She stated that six people were involved in the crash, three of whom died.


"A total of six people were involved: four male adults, one female adult, and one female child."
"Three people (two male adults and one female adult) were injured." "Three people were killed in the crash (two male adults and one female child)," Okpe explained.


She stated that the injured people were transferred to Dasochris Hospital in Gbaga for medical assistance, while the bodies of the deceased were recovered by the families of the deceased.


"The Sector Commander FRSC Ogun Sector Command, CC Anthony Uga, is pained by the recklessness of some motorists who fail to consider other road users, and he emphasized the need to use common sense speed limits to avoid RTC," she stated.
